Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a teen at Rio Grande Care Rd in Hidalgo County, TX on November 26th, 2023. Police are saying the incident involved a UTV that left the roadway for unclear reasons, traveling onto a canal. Reports say 18-year-old Jaidy Alcala and a 17-year-old occupant both suffered fatal injuries. Reports allege the 17-year-old occupant was the driver of the vehicle.
