Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 107 in Hidalgo County, TX on May 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:19 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima head eastbound on Hay 107 is alleged to have run a red traffic light before proceeding into the intersection with FM 681. There, reports say the vehicle collided with a Chrysler Town & Country headed southbound on FM 681. Officials say the driver of the Chrysler, identified as 48-year-old, was seriously injured. The Nissan operator, who was not publicly identified, was also allegedly seriously injured. Sources indicate the driver of the Nissan was cited for Disregarding Signal: Red Traffic Light.
