Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Gulf Bank Rd in Harris County, TX on January 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:54 p.m. According to investigators, a vehicle was headed eastbound on Gulf Bank Rd as it approached a pedestrian. The pedestrian, identified as 50-year-old Jaime Ferretiz, was either standing or crossing in or near the road before being struck by the vehicle. After striking Ferretiz, the vehicle fled the scene. Ferretiz suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Police had no additional information was not available.
