Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-35 in New Braunfels, TX on August 26th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:02 p.m. A Toyota Camry operated by 20-year-old Jairo Villeda reportedly failed to control its speed during a lane change and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. The impact caused the car to spin into and strike a second truck and Villeda suffered fatal injuries as a result. The other two drivers were not injured. Additional information was not available.
