Police say the incident happened around 9:03 a.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 26-year-old male was headed northbound bound FM 2996. The vehicle was approaching the intersection with FM 1121 and is alleged to have ran a stop sign before colliding with a westbound GMC truck operated by 27-year-old Jake Ryder Farris. Farris suffered serious injuries in the crash. The other driver had minor injuries and was charged with Disregarding Stop Sign.
