Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at County 3211 in Cherokee County, TX on December 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:05 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 was southbound on County Rd 3211 before veering into a ditch which attempting to avoid a deer. The vehicle is said to have struck a tree in the ditch, the crash seriously injuring 23-year-old passenger, Duane Kinney. Also seriously injured were a second passenger, not publicly identified, and 22-year-old driver, Jakob McCullough. Additional information was not immediately available.
