What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Richmond Ave in Houston, TX on February 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:45 p.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Jetta operated by 26-year-old Malik Khalil-Najee Brown was headed westbound before veering from the road. The vehicle crashed into a tree and a female passenger was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from. Brown was charged with intoxication manslaughter.
