What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Hwy 195 and FM 2484 in Killeen, TX on August 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. A motorcycle operated by 22-year-old Jalin Lucas was headed northbound on Fort Hood Street when it collided with another vehicle at intersection. Police say the other vehicle failed to yield and that the driver, 63-year-old Calvin Brown, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Lucas was hospitalized with serious injuries. Brown was charged with Intoxication Assault.
