Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a driver at Carpenter Ave in Dallas, TX on February 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:55 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by 62-year-old James Daniels was exiting a parking lot onto southwest Carpenter Ave at the time. The vehicle is alleged to have first traveled onto a sidewalk before veering before onto the road. The vehicle lost control and entered the sidewalk once more before colliding with a chain link fence and tree. Daniels was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from.
