What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at State Hwy 164 in McLennan County, TX on October 5th, 2024. Officials say the incident happend around 4 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Gladiator headed eastbound is alleged to have failed to remain in its lane, veering into a westbound lane. There, police say the vehicle collided with a Nissan Murano, operated by 31-year-old James Franklin. Police say Franklin and an 11-year-old passenger in the vehicle were both seriously injured. An additional 32-year-old passenger, had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Jeep was not publicly identified and allegedly uninjured.
