Officials have inforamtion on a crash that killed a driver at Red Oak Rd in Red Oak, TX on August 17th, 2024. Officials are saying the incident happened around 3:38 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 is alleged to have been navigating a curve in the roadway before allegedly striking a utility pole. From there, the vehicle is said to have lost control and rolled into the path of an approaching Ford F-250. The two vehicles collided, reports say, the impact causing the F-150 to roll off the roadway and leaving 82-year-old driver, James Howerton, was fatally injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured. Additional inforamtion was not available.
