Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at FM 2865 in Madison County, TX on December 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a Nissan pickup truck passing an 18-wheeler in a no-pass zone collided head-on with a Buick SUV and the truck before catching fire. The Nissan operated, 81-year-old James Nash, suffered fatal injuries. The Buick driver, identified as 76-year-old Carole Martin, also suffered fatal injuries.
