Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Overton Ridge Blvd in Fort Worth, TX on May 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:41 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic operated by a 27-year-old Fort Worth woman who was not publicly identified was headed eastbound on Overton. Officials allege the vehicle ran a red light at the Chisholm Trail intersection, colliding with a southbound Ford Escape operated by 90-year-old James Vincent. The force of the collision left both Vincent and a passenger, 85-year-old Carol Vincent, with serious injuries, according to officials. Both were hospitalized and officials confirmed Mr. Vincent passed away from his injuries on May 22nd. Police say the Fort Worth woman was not injured in the crash and a Ran Red Light charge was recommended and/or issued.
