What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 466 in Guadalupe County, TX on July 31st, 2021. Police are saying it happened around 6:04 p.m. A Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 35-year-old Zachary Grant was headed westbound on FM 466 when it reportedly failed to control its speed and collided with rear of a Chevrolet S10 operated by 63-year-old James Wilson. The Chevrolet was pushed forward into an approaching Kia Forte, causing Wilson serious injuries. No one else involved was injured and police charged Grant with Intoxication Assault.
