Police are saying the incident happened around 12:07 a.m. A Honda CR-V operated by 36-year-old Jameson Warren Mitchell is said to have been heading north through a construction zone on a closed street when it crashed into concrete surrounding the railroad tracks at the scene. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn, which left Mitchell with serious injuries. Responding officers allege that Mitchell was intoxicated and issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
