Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 66 in Hill County, TX on October 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:04 a.m. A Chevrolet Sonic operated by 31-year-old Jamie Elisse Saavik Williams was headed eastbound on FM 66 at what police say was unsafe speed for the curve ahead and lost control. It the veered from the right side of the road and over corrected to the left before veering from the road into a tree. Williams, who police say was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
