Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 19 in Hopkins County, TX on February 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Xterra operated by 33-year-old Jared Earl was headed northbound as it approached a curve. They believe the veered veered across the shoulder into a barrow ditch and collided with multiple trees and ejecting Earl from the vehicle. Earl reportedly suffered serious injuries and records indicate an Unsafe Speed charge was recommended or issued.
