What Happened

Area authorities responded to a crash that injured a person at I-35 Frontage Rd in Von Ormy, TX on April 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. A Kenworth truck operated by a 42-year-old Caddo Mills man is said to have collided with a Chevrolet express van under unclear circumstances. The driver of the van, 38-year-old Jason Alexander Garrett is said to have sustained serious injuries in the collision while the Caddo Mills man was not injured. Police say that failure to control speed and driver inattention played factors in the crash.
