Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at County Rd 913 in Johnson County, TX on July 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 19-year-old Jason Alvarez was headed westbound on County Rd 913 when it veered from the road into a ditch before hitting a concrete culvert and mailboxes. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn onto its side, leaving Alvarez with serious injuries. A 19-year-old passenger suffered less serious injuries. Police expressed suspicion of alcohol involvement in the crash.
