Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 59 in Montague County, TX on January 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:40 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra operated by 21-year-old Jason Rickard was headed northeast on Hwy 59 when it approached a curve in the road. The vehicle is said to have lost control after veering from the road and attempting to correct. It reportedly went into a skid before overturning into a barrel ditch.
