Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Old Kyle Rd in Driftwood, TX on January 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:25 p.m. A Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 45-year-old Jason Tidwell was reportedly headed westbound on RM 3237 when it allegedly veered into oncoming traffic. Police say the vehicle over-corrected back onto the road before crashing into a guardrail and overturned into a fence. Tidwell suffered serious injuries and records indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was issued.
