Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 119 in Moore County, TX on October 1st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:33 a.m. A Ford Mustang operated by 47-year-old Jason Wood was said to have been headed eastbound on FM 119 when it veered from the road into a ditch. The vehicle then went into a skid and hit a tree, causing fatal injuries to Wood at the scene. Investigators allege that Wood was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
