Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that killed a driver at East Ben White Blvd in Austin, TX on March 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:15 a.m. Investigators say a Jeep Cherokee operated by 29-year-old Javier Reyes was traveling at an alleged high rate of speed approaching a curve in the roadway. The vehicle is said to have veered left and struck a guardrail before going airborne and landing in a drainage ditch, overturning. Reyes suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
