What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured at least two people at Richey St in Pasadena, TX on October 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:53 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Yukon operated by a 40-year-old Pasadena woman was headed eastbound on a feeder road before allegedly running a stop signal and collided with the side of a Chevrolet Impala operated by a 42-year-old Pasadena woman. The impact caused serious injuries to a 17-year-old passenger and less serious injuries to an 18-year-old passenger. Another passenger, 48-year-old Javier Vazquez was evaluated for possible injuries. The driver of the GMC was not injured and arrested under suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
