Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1255 in Van Zandt County, TX on January 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:05 a.m. According to investigators, a Lexus ES 350 operated by 30-year-old Jayce Prejean was headed westbound on FM 1255 when it veered from its lane for unknown reasons. While attempting to correct back onto the road, the vehicle went left and veered into a fence post. It also hit a tree before traveling into a barrow ditch.
