Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at Vista Del Sol Dr in El Paso, TX on September 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. An SUV reportedly lost control for unknown reasons before crashing into a fire hydrant and the rock wall of a home. 32-year-old Jazmin Marin Reyes, a passenger in the vehicle, died and a second person was hospitalized with serious injuries. That person was later revealed to be the driver, 42-year-old Juan Pablo Escorza, who was arrested on suspicion of intoxicated manslaughter. Additional information was not immediately available.
