What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 377 in Granbury, TX on August 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:19 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Wrangler operated by 25-year-old Brianna Wesley was headed westbound on US 377 when it veered from the road following the driver suffering a seizure at the wheel. The vehicle went onto a ditch and a ravine before overturning several times. A rear-seat passenger, identified as 20-year-old Jazmyne Wiliams, was ejected from the vehicles and suffered fatal injuries. A second passenger, unnamed and age 19, suffered minor injuries, as did Wright. Additional information was not immediately available.
