Police say the incident happened around 5:01 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Escape is alleged to have come to a stop in a moving lane of travel following exiting a shoulder. Reports claim this led to the Ford being struck by an approaching Nissan Altima, which created a crash involving two other vehicles.
