Area authorities are investigating  a crash that injured a driver at Medical Dr in San Antonio, TX on December 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:42 a.m. According to investigators, a Lexus GX 470 was allegedly headed southbound on Fredericksburg. Traveling northbound and turning eastbound onto Medical Dr was a Subaru Forester operated by 42-year-old Jennifer Almaraz, reports say. Reports continue that the vehicles collided head on, the impact caused the Subaru to overturn, leaving Almaraz seriously injured. The other driver, a 36-year-old Midland man who was not publicly identified, allegedly had minor injuries. Sources indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver of the Lexus. Additional information was not immediately available.
