What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 59 in Houston, TX on April 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:37 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Traverse operated by a 24-year-old Houston woman was headed southbound on US 59 when investigators allege the vehicle failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a Nissan Rogue. A passenger in the Rogue, identified as 27-year-old Jennifer Flores, suffered serious injuries. The driver of the Traverse was also seriously injured and was issued a DWI charge.
