State Police are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at Bridge St in Hidalgo, TX on January 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:53 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Highlander operated by 41-year-old Jennifer Garza was headed northbound approaching the intersection at Produce Rd. It then collided with a commercial truck operated by a 40-year-old Mexico man. Investigators believe both driver inattention and a failure to come to a complete stop may have played factors in the crash. Garza and her 16-year-old passenger were both seriously injured, according to investigators. The Mexico man was not injured. Additional information was not available.
