Authorities in Harrison County, TX, are investigating a commercial vehicle crash that occurred on October 28, 2024, at approximately 9:47 p.m. on Interstate 20. According to investigators, a semi-truck traveling east allegedly failed to control speed and rear-ended a Ford Explorer Sport Trac traveling in the same direction. Police say the crash resulted in serious injuries to the 27-year-old  driver of the Ford. identified as Jennifer Rivas. The 44-year-old driver of the Peterbilt was uninjured cited for failure to control speed.
