Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 1485 in Montgomery County, TX on January 31st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:09 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado was headed eastbound on FM 1485 before allegedly failing to maintain its lane while attempting to avoid colliding with another vehicle. The Silverado is said to have went into a westbound lane, while headed eastbound, before colliding with a Ford Explorer. Reports indicate the driver of the Ford, identified as 44-year-old Jennifer Smith, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured, according to reports, was a 15-year-old passenger in the same vehicle. The other driver, who was not publicly identified, had possible injuries, police say.
