Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at State Hwy 111 in Lavaca County, TX on November 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:42 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was eastbound, approaching a metal crate in the roadway. Police say the vehicle began veering left in order to avoid a collision as an eastbound Lincoln Navigator was allegedly attempting to pass the truck. The vehicles collided in the process, leaving 46-year-old Lincoln operator, Jenny Green, seriously injured. The truck operator had minor injuries, reports say.
