What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating crash that injured two people at FM 306 in Comal County, TX on July 30th, 2021. Police say it happened around 5:35 p.m. A GMC Savana operated by an 18-year-old Canyon Lake man was slowing to enter a parking lot when a Dodge Ram operated by 37-year-old Jeremy Alan Davis struck the rear of the van at a high rate of speed. Davis suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Accident Involving Vehicle Causing Damage Over $200. A 33-year-old passenger in the van was treated for minor injuries as well as the driver.
