Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at 4th St in Lamesa, TX on July 28th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Chrysler 300 traveling eastbound on 4th Street is alleged to have failed to yield right of way to a westbound motorcycle. Reports say the vehicles collided, the impact ejecting the motorcyclist from the vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as 34-year-old Jeremy Davis, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured.
