What Happened

Austin Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at South I-35 in Austin, TX on December 10th, 2021. Officials say workers with the Texas Department of Transportation were working to install road signs near the northbound frontage road when, around 10 a.m., at least two were struck by a Porsche. Both were pronounced dead at the scene around 10:10 a.m. One of the two was identified as 30-year-old Jeremy Singleton. The driver of the Porsche was hospitalized with serious injuries. Investigators believe speed played a role in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
