Area authorities have information on a collision that injured a driver at State Hwy 161 in Irving, TX on November 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:41 a.m. A Mitsubishi Mirage operated by 41-year-old Jeremy Stroud was headed northbound on Hwy 161 as a commercial truck operated by a 30-year-old Meridian man was headed northbound ahead of the Mirage. Police say the Mirage failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the truck, causing serious injuries to Stroud. The Meridian man was not inured and Stroud was hospitalized for treatment.
