What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at  Aldine Bender Rd and Vickery Rd in Harris County, TX on July 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:33 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 48-year-old League City man reportedly failed to yield during a turn and drove into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 53-year-old Jerry Brewer Jr. The vehicles collided, causing Brewer serious injuries. The truck driver suffered minor injuries. Responding officers say that Brewer had allegedly also been drinking.
