What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured two drivers at US 77 in Waxahachie, TX on September 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:33 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Maxima headed southbound is alleged to have crossed over a turn lane before entering into northbound lanes. From there, reports say the vehicle collided with a northbound Nissan Altima. Reports say the driver of the Nissan Altima, identified as 58-year-old Jerry Nash Jr, was seriously injured. The other driver was also allegedly seriously injured, both drivers hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
