Authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people at FM 730 in Wise County, TX on June 22nd, 2024. Authorities say the incident happened around 4:32 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Trailblazer headed northbound is said to have crossed a center line while navigating a curve in the roadway, after having previously overcorrected. In the process, authorities say the vehicle collided with a Ford Ranger and second Trailblazer. Reports indicate the driver 47-year-old passenger in the second Trailblazer, Jerry Smith, was seriously injured. The driver, not publicly identified, was also seriously injured while 43-year-old passenger, Sonya Smith, was less seriously injured. The driver of the first Trailblazer, also not publicly identified, was also allegedly seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
