What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Sam Houston Tollway in Houston, TX on July 6th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado is alleged to have veered out of its lane prior to colliding with a Nissan Frontier. Reports say the Nissan was parked in a shoulder and was not occupied at the time of the crash, which is alleged to have left 36-year-old Chevrolet operator, Jesse Ortega, seriously injured.
