Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 67 in Alvarado, TX on May 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened 8:10 a.m. According to investigators, a BMW X1 operated by 36-year-old Jessica Diaz Kuhn was headed northbound on US 67 as was a commercial tractor-trailer operated by a 60-year-old Lexington, TN man. The truck reportedly signaled and slowed to make a right turn and police allege the BMW failed to control its speed and collided with the truck before veering from the road int center barrier cables. Kuhn was seriously injured while the truck driver was uninjured. Additional information was not immediately available.
