Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at University Ave and Main St in Lubbock, TX on November 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. A motorcycle operated by Noe Gomez is said to have crashed under unclear circumstances at the intersection. Gomez reportedly told police the motorcycle crashed after swerving to avoid colliding with another vehicle. Investigators say Gomez left behind an unresponsive passenger, after moving them from the road onto a sidewalk, before he was lated arrested and charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid. The passenger was identified as Jessica Freeman, who suffered serious injuries.
