What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a driver at Rigsby Ave and Loop 410 in San Antonio, TX on October 12th, 2021. They say the incident happened around 6:40 a.m. Investigators say both a tractor-trailer operated by a 29-year-old Kansas City resident and a Kia Rio operated by 38-year-old Jessica Hernandez were both reportedly attempting to turn right onto SE Loop 410 access road when one vehicle failed to yield to the other and both collided. Hernandez suffered minor injuries while the Kansas City man was not injured. Investigators suspect driver inattention on the part of the Kansas City man played a factor in the collision.
