Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 96 in Pineland, TX on July 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:14 p.m. A Pontiac Grand Am operated by 27-year-old  Jessica Michelle Medina was headed eastbound when it reportedly failed to yield at a stop intersection. The vehicle crossed into the path of a semi-truck and the two collided. Medina suffered serious injuries. A 6-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries. Medina was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.
