Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at State Hwy 119 in Dewitt County, TX on June 8th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. According to investigators, a Porsche Cayenne operated by 42-year-old Jessica Saunders had been headed southbound on Hwy 119, exiting a slight curve in the road. Police say the vehicle lost control and went into. skid, veering from the westb0und side of the roadway. The vehicle traveled through a private yard before hitting a large tree and spinning into a second tree. The impact caused Saunders to become partially ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries. Additional information was not available.
