What Happened

Grand Prairie Police are investigating a crash that killed four family members at South Belt Line Rd in Grand Prairie, TX on August 10th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger was allegedly involved in a speed race with another vehicle before colliding with a Chevrolet Traverse. The Chevrolet caught fire in the crash and authorities say two adults, identified as Jessie Rosales, Lorena Rosales and two of their children in the vehicle were fatally injured. Their third child, age 16, was hospitalized with serious injuries, reports say. Additional information was not immediately available.
