What Happened

Houston Police have information on a crash that injured two people at Sage Rd in Houston, TX on October 1st, 2021. Officials say the incident happened around 12:50 a.m. Investigators say that Jairon Ramos Gamez was behind the wheel of a Lamborghini that was headed westbound on Westheimer Rd. Police allege the Lamborghini wan a red light at the intersection with Sage Rd before colliding with a Houston METRO bus operated by James Centers Jr. A passenger in the Lamborghini, Jesus Caceres, was pulled from the vehicle by Gamez before Gamez reportedly fled the scene on foot. Caceres was hospitalized with serious injuries. Centers was also hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
