What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 16 on Comanche County, TX on June 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:27 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by30-year-old Jesus Candido was going northbound on Hwy 16 when it veered from the road for unknown reasons.  It then went into a skid upon attempting to correct back onto the road and spun into a roll. Candido was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Officers alleged suspicion that Candido was under the influence of alcohol.
